Since relocating to Brisbane, Meredith has been a regular speaker and panellist at the Brisbane Writers Festival, conducting sessions with travel writers Christopher Kremmer and Palani Mohan; interviewing children's writers Anita Bell,
Michael Gerard Bauer, and James Moloney; discussing themes of location and setting with Canadian crime writer Giles
Blunt and UK humorist Stephen Clarke; and presenting film and television panels with George Ogilvie, John Flanagan (Hey
Dad!) and Mardi McConnochie (McLeod's Daughters).
