Synopsis

British empire-builder OLIVIA DEVLIN is at the top of her game in the shark-infested territory that is global commercial property development.

With company project funding tied up in a series of international developments, she nonetheless sets her sights on an extensive but debt-ridden Australian cattle property about to go under the hammer.  Days before Christmas, she flied from her wintery wet base in London to the crackling summer heat of Australia's Queensland to broker the deal and add another scalp to her belt. 

Meanwhile, under an unforgiving outback sky, salt-of-the-earth grazier JAKE McNAIR wonders for the zillionth time how he is ever going to save his beloved but beleaguered cattle property, Minna Minna, from financial ruin.

Both need a huge infusion of cash.  And fast.

Unaware of the other's existence, they each find themselves in possession of a winning MegaLotto ticket worth a fortune.  Elation turns to shock when they discover that a freaky one-in-a-trillion computer error has assigned them identical tickets.

Outback boy and city girl find themselves seriously sidetracked from their normal lives as they embark on a hilarious 1700km road journey, lurching every which way towards that pesky little thing called Fate.
