The
producers at Forgan-Smith Entertainment bring a vast array of skills, experience and connections.
Meredith Garlick is currently releasing the comedy featureThe Underdog's
Tale, shot in Brisbane where she is also delivered a program of public lectures and was Queensland chapter head of the Screen Producers Association of Australia.
Monica Penders brings over 15 years of global business experience to Forgan-Smith
Entertainment with a particular emphasis on communications and media.
Jennifer Smith has worked on Hollywood big budget films such as Rush Hour
as well as on independent features in the US and Ireland and is currently teaching film at the University of Georgia.
Internship Program
FSE currently runs an internship program through its Australian office. Selection is through
a highly competitive application procedure and no more than four interns are taken on at any one time. Interns work
as Development Assistants and take on responsibilities as directed, covering such areas as script coverage, background
research, pitch and grant preparation and submission, budget and scheduling review, event planning and management, etc.
Interns may also apply their work towards university credit. FSE is looking to expand its internship program in USA.
